 Foxtail Millet Dal Adai- Thinai paruppu Adai//Healthy breakfast/Dinner Recipes:-

Ingredients needed:-

Foxtail Millet/Thinai-1 cup
Tur dal-1/2cup
Channa dal-1/4 cup
Green gram-1/4 cup
Urad dal-2 tbsp
Red chillies-3-4nos
Hing-a pinch
Salt -to taste
Grated coconut-3tbsp (optional)
Onion-2(finely chopped)
Curry leaves-few
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Oil -for making Adai
Moringa leaves-1cup

Preparation:-

*Soak foxtail Millet & all the 4dals(Tur dal, channa dal, green gram, urad dal) to gether for 3-4 hours.

* Grind it along with red chillies and curry leaves,just like you grind for regular Adai.

* The consistency of the batter should neither be thick or thin.

* Add hing& salt mix well.

Method:-

* Heat a pan,add 2tsp of oil.

* Add cumin seeds and onion-saute well 

* Add it moringa leaves& grated coconut saute 2-3 minutes.

* Mix it in the batter.

* Heat a tawa,pour a ladle of Adai batter and spread it in a circular motion just you do for regular Adai.

* Drizzle a tsp of oil around the Adai.Once it is cooked,the corner will start lifting up.

* Flip it over to the other side.Drizzle another half tsp of oil and cook well.

* Remove from the tawa and serve hot with any chutney of your choice.
