 Urad Dal Poori / Breakfast Recipe 

Ingredients:- 

* Urad dal -1/2 cup 

* Refined Flour/ Maida -2cup 

* Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp 

* Fennel seeds -1 1/2 tsp 

* Cumin seeds ( jeera) -1/2 tsp 

* Ginger-1/2 inch 

* Green chillies-2 nos 

* Oil- to fry 

* Salt - to taste 


Method:- 


Wash the Urad Dal throughly.

• Soak the dal for 6-7 hours (or) overnight if making in the morning.

• Drain the water .Grind the dal to a course paste along with green chillies and ginger.

• Take Refined Flour / Maida in a bowl.

• Add salt and 2tsp oil.

• Mix Nicely.

•  Add red chilli powder,jeera & fennel seeds.

• Knead to dough. Apply some oil , cover and leave it for 15 minutes.

• After 15 minutes knead the dough for 5 minutes. It will become soft.

• Heat oil in a fry pan.

• Divide the dough into small balls and roll into puris.

• Fry on medium flame till golden colour.

• Serve hot
