Ingredients:-

Steamed Basmati Rice( or) any type of normal rice - 2 cups.

Pepper corn- 1tbsp (crushed)

Oil -2 tbsp

Channa dal-1tsp

Cumin seeds-1tsp

Urad dal-1tsp

Curry leaves-1spring

Big onion-1 sliced

Green chillies-4 slited 

Cashew nuts-10

Salt - to taste

Ghee-1tsp

Make this easy pepper rice for lunch for a comforting meal:-

    This Black Pepper Rice gets Ready in 15 minutes with left over rice or newly cooking rice & Simple Tempering.

Let's start:-

1.Cook the Rice till done,set aside.

2.In a large pan, heat oil, splutter .... Mustard seeds,fry the dals and curry leaves. 

3.Add Green chillies & onion cook well.

4. Add cashew nuts and salt to taste.

5. Add the steamed rice or leftover rice& the crushed peppercorns and toss to coat well.

6.Finally add a tsp of ghee,cook for a couple of minutes& switch off.

7.Serve hot with Appalam & potato fry.
